As you can seen on my blog, I am a medical doctor with no web training whatsoever, but I have been able to customize Thesis to my liking with whatever support I could get at DIY themes and many other blogs across the net. The numerous tutorials in various blogs cover most of the code required to run a decent blog without the undue headache of learning PHP or even CSS.

SEO wise, Thesis is excellent as well. I hardly have knowledge of SEO and Thesis is a good place to begin with. Whatever the bullfight between wordpress biggie and Thesis developer, Chris, I still think Thesis proves its point beyond a doubt.

Check out my Thesis customization at www.medicalisland.net for some inspiration!

I want to give you my sincere review of Thesis 1.7. So you know, I am a novice when it comes to wordpress, or knowing anything about code. I basically opened a free wordpress.com account a few months back and trained myself on the basics. Once I felt comfortable enough to work with a hosted account, I began working with wordpress and uploaded the new Thesis 1.7 theme.
The theme is clean and super easy to use for people like me who want to create a good business blog, but don't have all the experience in the world. I watched a ton of videos on Youtube, as well as what was offered with DIY support. My site generates a lot of great targeted traffic and made me decent cash.

What I like about Thesis user friendly ways in which I can make changes to the site, including changing the color of the backgrounds, fonts and photos. What's best is how SEO the theme is. Like I said, I'm not a website design pro, but Thesis sure makes it easy to fool others into thinking I am.
